Anders Williamsson Chairman

Born1954. Chairman of the Board since 2007.
Anders Williamsson is also Chairman of Jolife AB, Glycorex Transplantation AB (publ), Nano Bridging Molecules SA, Biomain AB, AAA Teamwork AB and Provinsbanken in Helsingborg, Sweden. He is also a board member of Ambu A/S, Tigran Technologies AB and HTL-Strefa S.A. He was previously the CEO and a board member of HemoCue AB, HemoCue Holding AB and POCT Holding AB, CEO of Hemocue Inc., Atos Medical AB and deputy CEO of Pernovo AB. He has 30 years’ international experience of medical technology and life science. He has worked both in the USA and the UK. He has a B.Sc. (Econ.) from the University of Lund.

Lars Gatenbeck Board member

Born 1956. Board member since 2001.
Lars Gatenbeck is Chairman of H&B Capital Advisors AB and Life Equity Advisors AB. He is also Chairman of CellaVision AB, Life Medical Sweden AB and Swecare AB and Foundation and is a board member of Cancerföreningen and Aleris AB. He has been Hospital Director of the Karolinska Hospital and held senior executive positions at Pharmacia & Upjohn as well as being a board member of various Nordic listed companies such as Investment AB Öresund and Biotage AB. He is a registered Doctor with his medical degree from the Karolinska Institute (1980) and his Doctor of Medicine from the Karolinska Institute (1986).

Lars Gustafsson Board member

Born 1950. Board member since 1997.
Lars Gustafsson is one of the founders of Aerocrine. He is Professor of Physiology at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the Karolinska Institute and is active in research into the mechanisms behind the formation of nitric oxide (NO) in the airways and mechanisms identified with asthma. He is CEO and Chairman of Attgeno AB and a board member of Nitrograf Bioanalys AB. He has published a large number of papers on physiology and environmental medicine. He has a Doctor of Medicine degree in physiology from the Karolinska Institute and is a registered doctor.

Staffan Lindstrand Board member

Born 1962. Board member since 1999.
Staffan Lindstrand is a partner in HealthCap, board member of HealthCap AB and other companies in the HealthCap sphere. He is also a board member of Biotage AB, Orexo AB, PulmonX Inc. and Technolas Perfect Vision GmbH. Before he joined HealthCap in 1997 he had around 10 years’ experience in investment banking. He has a B.Sc. (Eng) from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH).

Magnus Lundberg Board member

Magnus Lundberg is CEO of Phadia AB and is also President and has board assignments within the Phadia Group. He is a board member of Onyx Pharmaceuticals (USA). For the past five years he has been Chairman of Bioimics AB, Holomed International AB and IGENZA AB, a board member of Cavidi Tech AB, Uppsvenska Handelskammarens Service AB and Biacore International AB. He has an M.Sc in Biochemistry and Biology from Åbo Akademi.

Yvonne Mårtensson Board Member

Born 1953. Board member since 2009.
Yvonne Mårtensson has been CEO of Cellavision AB since 1998 and also has board assignments in the Cellavision Group and is a board member of Biolin Scientific AB. She has over 25 years experience of international sales and marketing in rapidly expanding companies at different phases. Her previous assignments include HemoCue AB, where, among other positions, she was sales and marketing manager in the USA. She has a M.Sc (Ind Eng).

Karl Swartling Board member

Born 1965. Board member since 2004.
Karl Swartling has worked at Investor Growth Capital Europe since 2004 and is currently in charge of the team in Stockholm. He is a board member of NeuroNova AB, Affibody Holding AB and Global Health Partner AB and deputy board member of Atlas Antibodies AB, Tobii Technologies AB and Cambio Healthcare Systems AB. He has also been a consultant at McKinsey & Company for 15 years, focusing on Life Science. He has a B.Sc (Econ) from Handelshögskolan in Stockholm.
